Joint International Neurogastroenterology and Motility Meeting
The American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society, the Functional Brain-Gut Research Group, the European Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility, and the International Group for the Study of Neurogastroenterology and Motility invites participation in the 2010 Joint International Neurogastroenterology and Motility Meeting to be held on August 26 - 29, 2010 at the Westin Copley Place in Boston MA.
The purpose is to improve patient outcomes by providing a forum for the presentation, discussion, and debate of translational and clinical research in the area of neurogastroenterology and motility for the benefit of physicians and health care professionals who diagnose and manage patients.

UNC Patient Symposium
The UNC Center for Functional GI & Motility Disorders will be hosting its semi-annual Patient Symposium on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at the Siena Hotel in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The Patient Symposium is a unique opportunity for anyone wanting to learn about new perspectives and treatments of functional GI disorders. This all-day event is FREE and includes several plenary sessions, panel discussions, breakout sessions, lunch, refreshment breaks, and printed materials. A special presentation will be given by Nancy Norton on “Resources from IFFGD”. Other guest speakers include Arnold Wald, MD from the University of Wisconsin and Albena Halpert, MD from Boston University.
